The number of clients who are seen through different programs at the Institute for Human Resources has increased in the past few years.

This larger number may be due to the multiple satellite offices open around Livingston County.

Joe Vaughan, director at IRH, said it makes it easier to reach people in need when there’s more available than just one location.

“As opposed to everybody coming to us, we’re trying to do these satellite offices, where we can get to them easier and they can follow through with us a little easier,” Vaughan said. “We’re at these doctor’s offices through OSF and they’ve been gracious to provide a space for us and it’s been quite successful.”

Along with Pontiac, locations include Dwight, Fairbury, Chatsworth, Cullom and Flanagan.
