Chenoa kicks off its Fourth of July Celebration with a day full of events Friday.
A pork chop meal and ice cream social begins at 5 p.m. and will lead into the annual street dance, which begins at 8.
Saturday’s festivities include the flea market and car and motorcycle chow in the morning. Food vendors will be present.
The parade themed “One Flag, One Land, One Heart, One Hand” will step off at 2 p.m.
Fireworks begin at dusk.

Traveling north from Chenoa on Route 66, Dwight is also having at Fourth of July Celebration of its own.
The event will be at the Dwight Grade School grounds and will begin in the late afternoon Saturday. There will be food, carnival games for children, water wars, a bounce house, 50/50 raffle and glow items for sale.
The fireworks display is set to begin at approximately 9 p.m.
