As Livingston County continues to deal with the aftermath of the weekend snow, more concrete numbers are appearing. One trained weather spotter reported Livingston County snow accumulation of 8-point-9 inches in Pontiac. Measured snowfall totals ranged from 3 inches on the low end to 8 inch measurements taken near Dwight. The National Weather Service isn’t calling for more significant accumulation for central Illinois, but the ice and frozen blocks of snow from the weekend continue to be a problem. Crews continue to work the streets and roads, but the low temperatures are making the process more difficult.
