Published reports say arrests were made yesterday (1/11) in Streator after reports of shots being fired, but there are few details available. The best information available indicates that there was a shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning in Streator that did not involve area residents. The parties involved are in custody in LaSalle County. One male adult was transported to OSF St. Mary’s hospital for treatment, and subsequently transferred to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Streator police were assisted by the LaSalle and Livingston County Sheriff’s departments in responding to the situation.
