Two women from Odell are in custody for drug related charges.

Amber Watters, 29, and Tara Swartz, 32 were arrested Tuesday by Dwight police and both were charged with possession of a controlled substance. Watters also faces two counts of possession with intent to deliver, while Swartz also faces possesion charges in Will County.

Police obtained a search warrant for a residence in Odell and during the search found over forty uncapped and loaded hypodermic syringes. Also found were over 20 plastic capsules with purported heroin and heroind residue, and other drug paraphernalia.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s office, Pontiac Narcotics Unit, Will County Narcotics Unit, and Livingston County States Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
