The Pontiac District 90 school board spent some time this week talking about facility upgrades in the coming months, as well as projects proposed for the future.
Superintendent Jon Kilgore tells WJEZ’s Todd Wineburner that the changes aren’t necessarily glamorous, but they are necessary..
“We had some bids that came in on tennis court crack repairs and resurfacing, along with some exterior bleacher materials to make those safer and more ADA accessible,” said Kilgore.
Kilgore added that an architect was also on site to discuss more substantial projects. Those would include updating the bathrooms in the commons area and adding a STEM lab and greenhouse.
