The search continues for 16-year-old Kayla McCarthy. She was last seen at about 1 o’clock last Friday afternoon in her hometown of Emington and family members fear she’s in an unsafe situation.

Postings on social media say that Kayla has packed bags with her as well as accessories like a make-up kit. Posts also indicate that Kayla takes medication for mental health issues and that she apparently does not have her prescriptions with her.

Kayla is 16 years old and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She weighs about 165 pounds and has braces on her upper and lower teeth.
