For the second year in a row, OSF HealthCare System has been ranked as one of the top performing health care systems in the country by Truven, an independent health care analytics research company.

Karen Brodbeck, vice president of public relations for OSF HealthCare, explained the ranking and its significance.

“We’re absolutely very proud to be on this list again. They’ve ranked OSF HealthCare in the top twenty percent of large health care systems. One of the things we’re especially proud of is OSF HealthCare is the only one in that category in Illinois. It’s all based on publically reported data,” Brodbeck said.

Along with OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac are facilities in Peoria, Rockford, Bloomington, Ottawa and Galesberg.
