In softball, the tandem of Regan Krause and Amanda Fox combined on another no-hitter for Pontiac in a 5-0 win over Streator. Krause struck out 13 in five innings, Fox fanned five in the final two frames.
Fieldcrest topped El Paso-Gridley, 3-1, in a first-round Class 2A Regional game at Minonk.
In baseball, Pontiac scored five runs in the sixth inning as the Indians overcome a five-run deficit to outscore Streator, 14-12. Eric Watson homered and doubled for PTHS.
In the regionals, Dwight rallied from an eight-run deficit to force extra innings, only to fall to Gardner-South Wilmington, 11-10, in 10 innings in a Class 1A regional game. The Panthers pushed across the winning run on a bases-loaded single.
