The holidays can cause stress for the general population, and IHR Executive Director Joe Vaughan has tips to help you get through the holidays.
Vaughan gave tips for adults and children alike.
“I encourage people just to plainly slow down. If you slow down a little bit and relax and plan ahead and be more proactive, you’re going to have a more enjoyable time. If you just stay in the moment with kids and enjoy it with them, you’re going to have a much better time, I think, because kids are innocent to the season, they enjoy it, they look forward to it, and if we can stay in the moment with them, you’re better off, I think,” Vaughan said.
Vaughan was a guest on a recent community forum, where he gives more information to calm stresses during the holiday season.
