The City of Pontiac joined the cell phone app “rTown” last week, and while it’s in its early stages, they’re looking to include every business.
Tourism Director Ellie Alexander explains that the app can be downloaded for any smart phone and from there, everything available can be found by simply scrolling the page.
“You go through and scroll ‘Pontiac, Illinois.’ They have many other communities to choose from, but of course, we want you to choose Pontiac. Then you’ll have at your fingertips all the information about all the city departments, events and business listings,” Alexander said.
