Streator Onized Credit Union – Pontiac Branch is holding a Tiny Martini Tasting at the Pontiac Elks Thursday, July 27, to benefit the United Way of Livingston County.
Senior Loan Officer Diana Iverson described how the tasting will work.
“We’re going to do martinis and serve them in little glasses, so if you don’t like it, you don’t have to sit there and suffer through a big martin, you can taste the little one and go on to the next flavor,” Iverson said.
United Way of Livingston County Director Deb Howard said people can do more than just buy tickets to attend.
“We’re looking for people who want to donate raffle items or silent auction items. We’re looking for people who want to do martini tables, which are absolutely fabulous,” Howard said.
