There will be a “Meet the Candidate” night Saturday at the Pontiac Elks Lodge.
Present for the evening will be James Marter, Republican Candidate for United States Senate. He is challenging incumbent Mark Kirk. Livingston County State’s Attorney Seth Uphoff will also be present, but his challenger, Randy Yedinak, will be absent due to a previous engagement.
Circulations for GOP presidential candidates will also be circulated throughout the evening.
This event is from 3 to 5 and is open to the public. The Elks Lodge is located at 459 S. Elks Club Road in Pontiac.

The Senior Choir of St. John’s Lutheran church in Flanagan cordially invites you to join them in celebrating the Nativity of our Lord at its annual Christmas Cantata Entitled “We Still Run to Bethlehem.” The Choir, under the direction of Jean Keck will present the Cantata in the Sanctuary of the Church on Sunday Evening, December 13, 2015 at 7:00P.M. Pastor Mark Knappe will be the Narrator and Jerry Keck will be the accompanist. A social hour will follow in the Parish Hall. There will be a Free will offering.
