COVID-19 Total for Livingston County Approaches 2000

By Todd Wineburner

As last week ended, there were 450 active cases of COVID-19 infection in LIvingston County. That number includes 54 cases that were identified on Friday.

The weekend numbers will be available later today (Monday), but as of now the county has seen 1,922 cases overall. Over 14 individuals have completed their quarantine period and 17 individuals have died as a result of COVID-19 and its complications.

As always, more information can be found through the Livingston County Health Department’s website at LCHD.US. That website also gives area residents the chance to make reservations for COVID-19 testing at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center. That service is available weekday mornings. Reservations are strongly encouraged for anyone seeking a test.
