27 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

The latest information from the Livingston County Health Department says no county residents are currently hospitalized for COVID-19 infection, but otherwise the numbers continue to increase. Twenty-five positive tests were identified in the county and two at the Pontiac Correctional Center on Wednesday. That brings the county’s total to 729 cases overall.

607 people who tested positive are no longer in isolation, while 112 cases remain active. Ten people have died as a result of complications from COVID-19 infection.

COVID-19 testing is available in the parking lot of OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center by appointment from 8:30 until noon weekdays. Call the health department to arrange a time for testing by calling (815) 844-7174. There is no charge for the tests.
