Positive COVID-19 Tests Continue

The latest information from the Livingston County Health Department says 40 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 infection. The latest group of new cases involves one child who’s under the age of one, as well as others under the age of 20. At the other end of the age spectrum, one new case involves a woman in her 90s. All of the most recently diagnosed cases are recovering in isolation and none are Pontiac Correctional Center inmates.

The county’s total now sits at 680 with 84 active cases, 3 hospitalizations, and 10 fatalities. COVID-19 testing is available at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center by appointment.
