Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band ZZ Top formed in 1969 and is known for their mix of blues rock, boogie rock, hard rock, and Southern rock. They have created 15 albums; their latest, Futura, was released in 2012. Those albums have received high honors from the RIAA – including four gold, three platinum, four multi-platinum, and one diamond album statuses. Six of their songs have reached number-one on the Mainstream Rock chart. In 2004, the band was inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
