A group of activists is once again trying to rally supporters to voice concerns about a proposed ICE detention center.

No ICE Dwight released a statement Wednesday on Facebook calling for more demonstrations before Monday nights Dwight Village Board meeting.

The group rallied Tuesday night before the planning commission meeting. The commission gave the nod to the village board to annex land located off Interstate 55 and Illinois Route 17 for the facility.

It’s unclear whether the village board will take a vote Monday.
