The Pontiac Rec Center is offering a few new classes and bringing back old ones for the month of August.
One new one is Body Weight Beast, and Director Taylor Baxter explains exactly what that is.
“What that is, is exactly what it sounds like – you’re using your body weight and there’s no weights involved. With us at the Rec Center, I noticed we’re missing a demographic in there’s not a whole lot of men who take our classes, so with Bodyweight Beast, we get that sense of a beast and we’re looking at getting more men involved. That’s one of the ways we wanted to do that. Women are more than welcome to come, too. It’s not just a men’s class,” Baxter said.
