PROUD is holding the first-ever Fun Fest in downtown Pontiac Saturday from 10 to 3.
Director Jessi Finkenbinder said the idea came to the group during the cold weather of this past winter.
“Probably around December time, we were working on the Christmas parade and I saw all the kids and the big community we have line up for Santa, so I said we needed to do something fun that all the kids can enjoy. Just come down, have a lot of fun and it’s awesome we’re teaming up with all these great places downtown and making this a great event,” Finkenbinder said.
Included in the day will be inflatables, activities with the Pontiac Community Art Center, the Farmer’s Market and kids’ activities with the United States Army.
