CHENOA – A privately-hired caregiver is accused of stealing money from one of her clients in rural Chenoa.
McLean County Sheriff’s Police say Raelene Fuller, 23, was a caregiver for a 64-year-old woman who lives in the Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community. McLean County State’s Attorney Jason Chambers said Fuller stole $1,000 from the victim’s room last week.
Fuller was not an employee of the retirement community.
Police said the victim is in poor health.
Fuller has been charged with felony theft. She was arrested on Saturday and posted a $300 bond on Monday. She is due in court for a July 7 arraignment.
