The 18th annual Kidsnic is happening Sunday from noon to 7 and ‘The Story Continues’ at Humiston Riverside Park with food, games and entertainment, all at no cost.
Founder Rodney Perkins gave a preview of the event.
“The importance of this picnic is to let the children join hands, let the children meet and there’s a lot of children that know each other already. We have a granny, Betty Cosey, is a book writer, a storyteller. We have a Christian dance group called One Way and we have South Shore Drill Team – the main event. We have the Kidnic Children, doing their annual dance contest. All the food is for free. Everything is for free,” Perkins said.
