Women Empowered Livingston County, or WE Live is holding its third event, “Girl Talk,” Wednesday, June 21 at 5:30 p.m. at Pontiac First United Methodist Church.

Nancy Kuster, manager of cardio pulmonary services at OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, explained what is happening that night.

“This free event includes presentation and discussion of four challenging topics for women, including physical health, spiritual health, relationships and managing stress. So, we have four different specialists in each of these topics coming to do a short presentation. But then we want to pull out that discussion to the tables and actually have conversations with the women individually at each of the tables,” Kuster said.

RSVPs are due no later than June 16 and can be made by calling 309-661-5151. The number and ages of children should be provided when registering, as there will be child care provided.
