Fairbury’s Trinity Lutheran Church’s community garden, called God’s Garden, is bursting at the seams with all kinds of produce, and the church will begin giving away the garden’s rewards Saturday from 9 to 11.

Spokesperson Gail Huling says everyone is invited to take the produce they are sharing.

“One of the things we were hoping, especially for the people who use the food pantry, that we could fill in the gap, but we didn’t want to stop just there. We want to be there for everybody,” Huling said.

The group will give away the produce throughout the summer as it becomes available. They are located at the corner of Cherry and Third streets in Fairbury.
