Employees from Mosaic were guest speakers for Wednesday’s weekly Kiwanis Club meeting in Pontiac, and the group heard about the need for Home Providers.
Community Relations Manager Joan Carlson said Home Provider means a provider for an individual that would live in their home and they would provide for each and every need that person would have. Independent Contract Program Coordinator Paula Humke explained what kind of a person would be a good home provider.
“It’s a person who wants to make a difference in somebody else’s life. It could be a retire teacher, a retired nurse, a stay-at-home mom or a single parent,” Humke said.
