The Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council is here to help the area economy grow in many ways, and a perfect example is the currently active expansion of ATR in Pontiac.

ATR President Ken Ehresman explained that ATR is a value recovery company that works primarily in the commercial sector. It has nine locations throughout the United States and is headquartered in Pontiac, celebrating its 15th year in business this year. They’ve been working with the GLCEDC to expand the growing company.

“Full time positions, we have a full line of benefits we have very competitive pay that goes along with these positions. Our basic entry level position starts out at $12.50 an hour and of course, they go all the way up into higher paid positions as you get more skilled in specific areas. Some of the value recovery positions, it will be common for those folks to be making anywhere from $40,000 to $60,000 dollars a year and, of course, management positions will be even higher than that,” Ehresman said.
