Senior Malcolm Hill was named the Fighting Illini’s Most Valuable Player of the past season during last night’s team banquet. Hill was third in Big Ten scoring at 17.2 points per game and finishes his career as the third-leading scorer in Illini history with 1,846 points.

The teams rematch tonight with Wily Peralta on the mound for the Brewers while the Cardinals give the ball to Carlos Martinez.
