OSF Saint James receives ‘A’ in recent safety grade

OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center recently received an A grade from the Leapfrog Safety Group, a national patient safety watchdog.

Community Relations Coordinator Pam Meiner said getting this grade shows the work they put in to caring for their patients.

“Obviously, we’re thrilled to once again receive an A in our hospital safety grade from the Leapfrog Group. What many people don’t realize is they’re one of the most well known national patient safety watchdog groups in the country. Their grades are designed to provide the most complete picture of patient/hospital safety in the United States today and it’s no easy task to earn an A from them. So, it’s a big accomplishment and everyone is very proud of that. Once again, it shows how hard we work to provide safe, high quality care to our community, for the people that live in our area that we know so well,” Meiner said.
