Consolidated election results

Yesterday was the consolidated election, and while many of the people ran unopposed, there were a handful that had more than one person to choose from for the respective position. Here are some of the unofficial results from the Livingston County Clerk’s office.

For the City of Pontiac, Robert Russell ran unopposed for Mayor, Sharon Dunham and Carole Peterson ran unopposed for city clerk and treasurer, respectively, and William Alvey, Bill Kallas, Gerald Causer, Curt Meyers and John Wille also ran unopposed for ward aldermen.

In Streator, Joe Scarbeary defeated Ed Brozak, Bob Williamson and Willard Price Jr. for a spot on the Streator city council.

For the City of Fairbury, David Slagel defeated Kaci Zimmerman, Brian Meints and Seth Welch for mayor. Bruce Weber, Lynn Dameron, Nancy Gerdes Hibsch, Bill Schmidgall and Gerald Hoffman were elected as city aldermen, with Kay Casey falling short.

In the village of Campus, Daniel Turner, Theodore Turner and Dana Bennet-Tejes all ran unopposed for village trustees, while in the village of Strawn, Charlie Goembel ran unopposed for village president, with Stacey Heavilin as village clerk and Melissa Freehill as village trustee, all running unopposed, as well.

The town president in Chatsworth is Richard Runyon and Galen Schaffer is on the board of trustees, both running unopposed.

In Cornell, Steve Rapp remains village president with Jane Cashmer as village clerk and Mary Burmeister, Regina Bristow and Dave Melvin as village trustees, all running unopposed.

Barbara Hahn was elected Cullom Village president with Nancy Flessner as village clerk and Kenzie Meister as village treasurer. Jody Rock, Steven Whitman and Richard Mills were elected village trustees. All from Cullom also ran unopposed.

In the village of Dwight, Jared Anderson remains village president, besting former president Bill Wilkey, with Jill Haacke winning village clerk. Village trustees include Justin Eggenberger, Jerry Curtis, Jennifer Johnson and Randall Irvin, beating out Dorreen Hodgson, David DeLong and Tim Dougherty.

In the village of Flanagan, Jason Montello remains village president with Kristy Dodge as village clerk and Beverly Friese, David Iverson and Kimberly Wargo as village trustees, all running unopposed.

For the village of Emington, Martin Housman III is village president with Annelise Fiedler as village trustee, both running unopposed, and for the village of Forrest, James Guilliford is village president and Greg Knauer, Paul Honegger and Ronald Steidinger elected as village trustees, besting Gerald Kestner, Jon Bach and Joyce Guilliford.

Jean Gray is the village president of Long Point, beating out Linda Zavada, with Spring Lefler as village clerk and Robin Cooley, Richard Lefler and David Zavada as village trustees.

Terry Joyner remains Odell Village President with Iris Thorne as village clerk and Lisa Lambert, Jamie McPeek Johnson, Mark Tissierre and Joan Bullard as village trustees. All from Odell ran unopposed

For the village of Saunemin, Robert Bradford ran unopposed for village mayor, as did Nancy Haag for village Clerk and Randy Mauser, Steven Schaffer and Michael Snyder for village trustees.

Woodland Board of Education includes Daniel Reinmann, Eric Perhach, Karen Hadley and Rebecca Sterling, all running unopposed. Mark Slagel, Ted Bachtold, John Wilken and Brian Plenert were elected to the Prairie Central Board of Education and Ryan Hansen, John Grampp and Matt Dewald were elected to Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District #425 Board of Education, all running unopposed. Franklin Partney and Nicholas Stipanovich were elected to Dwight Common School District 232, running unopposed and Nick Fortner, Todd Pinkerton, Marilea Groves and Patricia Ruddy were elected to the Cornell School district 346 board, beating out Ellie Fitzsimmons. Pontiac District 429 board of education includes Daniel Krueger, Adena Fox, Aaron Galloway and Mark Donovan, all running unopposed. For Saunemin District #438, Brandon Sancken, Joyce Swartz, Marcie Rich and Eric Johnson beat out Nicole Dransfeldt and for Odell District #435 Board, Emily Gall, Mark Tissiere, Kevin Roe and Kara McKee defeated Mark Hilleary and Kathryn Noels. For the Flanagan CUSD 74 Board, Douglas Weers, Mark Harms, Andy Cooper and Michael Kreush ran unopposed with Richard Tutoky and Nicholas McFadden running unopposed for the Streator Township High School board of education.

For Pontiac Township High School board of education, Betty Murphy and Roger Corrigan ran unopposed and for Dwight Township High School, Paul Warner, Tim Henson, Jennifer Myzia and Brian Perschnick ran unopposed.
