Easter egg hunt happening Saturday

Pontiac Healthcare and Rehab is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.

Activities Director Kathy Finkenbinder said this annual event, largely planned and funded by residents, will involve pictures with the Easter Bunny and golden egg prizes.

“Our residents love this event because we have to start on it right after Christmas, because we bring the eggs in and we have to clean them and piece them together. After that’s all done, all 7,000 eggs, we have to take them apart and stuff them and then sort them by count by age group, so it is a lot of work, but it gives them a lot of hands-on things to do and they reminisce over their Easter Egg hunts, then when the kids are there that day, they light up like a rainbow,” Finkenbinder said.

The rain date for the event is April 15th
