The OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center Auxiliary recently donated $32,500 to the medical center for nurse tuition assistance.
Community Relations Coordinator Pam Meiner has more.
“That money will help those pursuing healthcare careers – nurses who are going for their Bachelor in Science and Nursing Degree – help offset some of those costs, which makes that goal attainable for them. So many people will be helped with that money. We were thrilled with the gift and overwhelmed with the amount they donated to the hospital for this tuition assistance program. Wonderful, wonderful gift,” Meiner said.
This money was raised from gift shop sales and fundraisers throughout the year.
