Pontiac District 429 has reading events planned for Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday, Family Reading Night, complete with the invitation to wear your pajamas for the “Camping” themed evening, is scheduled for 5:30 to 7. This is done in conjunction with the Central School Scholastic book fair. The Boy Scouts will be leading campfire stories with retired teacher Kathy Schulz leading campfire songs.
The book fair continues Friday from 2-6 in the school’s gym.
This event is free to district families and students. For more information, contact the school at 844-3023.
