The Pontiac Public Library has a month-long program happening called “Blind Date with a Book.”
Library Director Kristin Holzhauer explains.
“Will it be a dud or a stud? Will it be a flop or will wedding bells be ringing? Will it be love at first read? We want you to come blindly select one of the wrapped books we have at the library. You can check it out, take it home, unwrap it – you can spend a few minutes with your date, determine whether you love it, whether you want to go on a second date or whether it’s over,” Holzhauer said.
Participants are entered to win a prize when they rate their book.
The library is located at 115 West Howard Street.
