Tragedy fell on Livingston County over the weekend, with two accidents that resulted in fatalities.

According to Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson, the first accident happened northwest of Chatsworth late Friday night. Eighteen year old Stacia Allyn of Cullom was found deceased after her 1999 Ford pickup truck hit a utility pole and burst into flames.

A report of an empty canoe on the Vermilion River Sunday morning in Newtown Township near Cornell led several departments in a search and recovery mission. Thirty-one year old Mark McCoy of Long Point was found deceased Sunday evening.

These accidents remain under investigation.
