The Pontiac Public Library is holding an event this evening with the help of Prairie State Legal Services, which begins at 6 p.m.
Lydia Jordan, Public Benefits Education and Outreach Coordinator for Prairie State Legal Services will be present to explain how the organization works.
“I’m going to give a short presentation about different public benefits and programs people might not know about,” Jordan said.
Pontiac Public Library is located at 211 E. Madison Street in Pontiac.
