April 30 is Consult a Lawyer for Free Day, which gives people a chance to consult attorneys about legal matters.
In a press release from the Illinois Bar Association, people can contact participating attorneys through the toll-free phone numbers 800-252-8908 or 800-678-4009, by emailing questions to askalawyerday@isba.org or by using the ID of ISBALAW1 on Skype.
Each of the participating bar associations operated a lawyer referral system for people who need legal services and those contacted through a referral service provide an initial consultation at a nominal cost.
