We take our love for our pets very seriously, but is it “paid day off” serious?

Apparently there are some companies that are starting to offer people “pet bereavement days” if their pet dies.  Believe it or not, there are at least three national companies that offer pet bereavement. And maybe it’s necessary, because a survey found 30% of people who lost pets say they couldn’t function right at work afterward.
