The Livingston County Master Gardeners are unveiling a new element to their program starting next week.

The Open Help Desk will be available on Thursdays from 9 to noon to help people with their gardening questions. Kelly Allsup, horticulture educator with the University of Illinois Extension, said there will now be someone available to answer a whole host of questions.

“You can ask the Master Gardeners any question you want, whether it be ‘What tomatoes do you think I should grow this year?’ or ‘What’s wrong with my tree?’  or ‘What kind of perennials do you think I should plant?’” Allsup said.
