Dwight Elementary School will be holding free developmental screenings for children from birth to five years this Thursday and Friday.
Leslie Grieff, preschool teacher in Dwight, said it’s important to have your child screened at least once between kindergarten just to make sure things are on track for speech, motor, social-emotional and learning. Children over the age of three will have their vision and hearing checked.
“It’s important just to make sure your kids are on track with their development and specifically for Dwight, children who are screened will be considered for the preschool program at Dwight Grade School,” Grieff said.
