The Pontiac Public Library will host a Home Preparedness Talk Friday at 6 p.m.

Pontiac Fire Chief Scott Runyon will give the presentation, which will cover various aspects of safety and emergency preparation, including what may happen if a natural disaster, a catastrophic storm or widespread power failures strike.
