A second of three scheduled drug awareness forums is happening tonight at Pontiac Township High School.

These community awareness programs feature Tim Ryan, who has become a well-known and powerful speaker on the topic of heroin abuse. It’s part of a three pronged initiative to combat prescription pill and heroin abuse in Livingston County.

These forums are brought to you through a partnership with the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s office, Pontiac, Fairbury and Dwight Police Departments and OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center.

The event begins this evening at 6:30 at the Pontiac High School Auditorium.
