Illinois American Water recently filed an application to adjust rates for water and sewer service in all the company’s operating districts.

The primary focus behind this rate request is the company’s investments in water and sewer system improvements, including installing fire hydrants, valves, meters and approximately two miles of water main for Pontiac.

These rates changes are effective January 2017.
