The American Liver Foundation and Illinois State Medical Society have joined forces to work toward eliminating Hepatitis C.
Hepatitis C is the most common blood borne infection in the US. It affects the liver for decades without any symptoms and can slowly kill a patient before they even know they are infected.
ISMS and ALF are working together to improve the rate of Hepatitis C diagnosis in Illinois by raising awareness and increasing screenings.
