Santa has officially come to Pontiac!
The PROUD Christmas Light-Up Parade last Friday ushered Santa and Mrs. Claus to his special house in downtown Pontiac, situated on the north side of the Livingston County Historic Courthouse on Madison Street.
Lori Pemberton, who is a member of the PROUD board of directors, was a guest on a recent Community Forum and explained when Santa would be available for visitors.
“Santa will be at his house on Saturdays from 10 to 1 and Monday evenings from 5 to 7. He will also be there Thursday, December 17, from 5 to 7 when we have our luminary event,” Pemberton said.
The next big event for PROUD is December 17, where luminaries will be set up around downtown and some businesses will stay open a little later to give people another chance to shop.
