In conjunction with Small Business Saturday, the newly renovated Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center will hold a Community Open House on Saturday from 10 to 2.

The event is free and open to the public.  Holiday treats will be available and tickets will be on sale for the upcoming Vermillion Players’ production of “Home for the Holidays.”

The Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center is located at 319 N. Plum St. in downtown Pontiac.  For more information about the Community Open House, facility rental or to purchase tickets for the upcoming production of “Home for the Holidays,” call 815-844-1187.

The Livingston County Adapted Recreation in association with Pontiac Parks and Recreation Center is having Game Night.

This event will take place in the community room at the Rec Center from 6 to 8 Monday evening. Snacks will be provided.

LCAR is an organization that exists to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

The Pontiac Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its Holiday Open House Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Chamber office.

The Chamber is located at 210 N. Plum Street.

THE PONTIAC MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS) WILL MEET AT THE FIRST UNTIED METHODIST CHURCH IN PONTIAC WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2ND FROM 9-11A. BREAKFAST AND DAYCARE WILL BE PROVIDED.

The Livingston County Historical Society will be holding its annual December dinner meeting Thursday, Dec. 3 at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center in Pontiac.

Guest speaker for the evening is Pontiac native Mike Wille, professor of art at Illinois State University.

The dinner, catered by Bernardi’s II, is open to the public, but seating is limited. Reservations must be made before Sunday by calling Bob or Barbara Sear at 842-2774. Tickets for the event are $25 and can be paid for the evening of the dinner.

The Livingston Area Career Center is hosting Community Technology classes December 4 from 6 to 7:30.

This class is 100 percent taught by LACC Technology Students, which will give a step-by-step guide on what they’re teaching. Students will be teaching people how to use applications, such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets and more.

The money raised through this class will benefit the LACC Technology Classes.
