Pontiac will be inundated with Pontiacs from all over the place this Saturday and Sunday.

The GTO Regional All Pontiac Cruise is set to take place this weekend. The event is hosted by the Heart of Illinois, Gateway and Windy City GTO clubs and the Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum.

Tim Dye, curator and founder of the Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum, said last year, there were 225 cars gathered for the event and he expects at least 250 this year.

Saturday will include the cruise day, a guest speaker and a performance from the Vermillion Players and Sunday will be the downtown car show.
