The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is reporting a fatal accident that happened in rural Fairbury Sunday afternoon.

According to a press release from the department, the mini-van versus motorcycle accident happened at the intersection of 2200 East 600 North Road. The driver of the mini-van was released from treatment at the scene, while the driver of the motorcycle was found without signs of life at the scene.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family and the accident remains under investigation.
