The fifth annual Vermilion River Cleanup Day is happening Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8 to noon.

People are asked to bring gloves, hats, drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellant and a canoe. Organizers also remind people to plan to get dirty throughout the cleanup efforts.
