A Pontiac couple came home from the Illinois State Fair with a huge award.

Jesse and Mary Faber won the 2015 Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders Excellence in Ag Award Wednesday in Springfield.

According to Livingston County Farm Bureau manager, Jody Hughes, the Fabers have been active with the Young Leader program not only at the county, but state level. Jesse teaches Agriculture classes at Pontiac Township High School. He is involved with various state Ag teacher organizations holding leadership positions. Mary is the controller at Graymont Co-Op. Mary is actively involved with her family’s dairy farm and manages the farm’s social media presence.

The couple has 2 children, three year old Ava and one year old Eli.
