A fryer fire brought the Pontiac Fire Department to Pizza Hut Sunday evening.

The restaurant, located at 1 Vermillion Plaza, reported the fire shortly before 9 p.m., but the suppression system at the restaurant put the fire out before firefighters arrived.

Pontiac Fire Chief Scott Runyon said there were no injuries and no damage from the fire.
